Friends Of Zir Chemed
Friends of Zir Chemed has a number of committees worldwide.
A committee is launched when a dedicated volunteer with a vision inspires a circle of friends to join her. Together they plan fundraising activities. The revenue raised through their work help Zir Chemed greatly in continuing its mission of granting childless couples the joy of having children.
Apart from the time and energies that are invested for the good of the cause – our volunteers also form new friendships and take great pleasure in doing what they do.
A number of the FOZC events produced by our committees have turned into annual fundraisers that have proved so popular they are practically household names!
The original Ramat Bet Shemesh Committee - the core team of ladies who have been with us from our inception - has produced, over the years a wide variety of events, under the direction of Esther Teichtal.
Four Annual Ladies’ Dinners were the launching pad for all future FOZC development, and have since evolved into an interesting range of fundraising events.
The FOZC Show committee – under the direction of Rikki Reichman, and in association with Chayele Regal, the talented director of Regal Productions, produce the popular FOZC musicals for Anglo ladies in Israel.
Miri Pops In, The Gift of Music and other popular favorites, have all been produced and performed with talented Zir Chemed volunteers.

The Jerusalem FOZC, directed by Devorah Rabinowitz, are the geniuses at work behind the amazingly successful Annual Worldwide Treats N’ Trivia Nights. These mind-challenging, fun-filled evenings are enjoyed by Hundreds of Teams (over four hundred participated in 2006!) from locations as far away as Philadelphia, USA to Amsterdam, Europe and their popularity only grows from year to year.
Other committees active abroad are the London FOZC, directed by Daliah Stemmer; the Belgium FOZC, under the direction of Shoshi Ziskind and the Canadian FOZC, headed by Lifshi Silver.
We welcome serious offers from Jewish ladies around the globe interested in directing local chapters for our organization.
If you are dynamic, motivated and creative – and, what’s more – you like the idea of helping couples achieve their dream of parenthood - this might be just the thing to give your life an exciting new turn!
