  • Counseling
    Zir Chemed's private counselling service provides much needed emotional and professional support to childless couples around the world. Our understanding medical experts answer questions, allay fears, explain available options and refer them to halachic authorities who guide them through the relevant treatment.
    A welcome addition to the medical staff, psychologist Professor Moshe Neiman has recently began seeing clients at the clinic for help with fertility related counseling.
     
  • Education
    Zir Chemed serves as an information clearinghouse for rabbonim and medical professionals throughout the world. Rabbonim turn to Zir Chemed when looking for information regarding fertility-related halacha issues. Their increased level of comprehension also enables them to become more effective counsellors. Similarly, doctors who contact the organisation to acquire a better understanding of their Jewish patients' needs and concerns find it easier to provide more effective treatment.
     
  • Clinical Treatment
    Zir Chemed runs a private fertility clinic in Jerusalem, which is fully equipped with state-of-the-art ultrasound and gynaecological equipment for diagnostic testing and preliminary treatments. Hundreds of couples, both in Israel and abroad, have benefited from the treatments, all of which are conducted in strict accordance with halacha, and are tailored to each couple's individual needs. In 2006 / 2007 alone the clinic handled over 4,500 appointments. Of these, 526 were fertility related.
     
  • Home Ultrasound Service
    In recent years a popular new service has been instated whereby ladies needing urgent ultrasound scans, who may be homebound or find it hard to make regular health clinic hours can order an ultrasound technician to come and perform the scan with a portable machine in the comfort of their home.
