Zir Chemed needs more staff and space urgently!

Our doctors are currently working out of a converted basement! We would like to help the organization build a modern and efficient center where all the services will be offered beneath one convenient roof.

The new facility will include:

3 fertility treatment units
A Fully equipped laboratory
Multiple waiting rooms
A nurses station
A Conference room

Perhaps the most unique aspect of the new clinic, however, is its design. Its circular shape and multiple entrances will help ensure that couples have maximum privacy and comfort when visiting the facility.

The estimated cost of the new facility is $1.25 million, not including equipment and furnishings.

Building a Modern Medical Center

For its first five years Zir Chemed operated out of a converted basement warehouse with space and facilities grossly inadequate to meet the needs of its growing clientele. More recently they moved to a ground floor apartment in a discreet residential neighborhood. Plans are underway, however, to build a streamlined, state-of-the-art medical facility, which – thanks to an ingenuous in-the-round design – will provide the ultimate comfort and privacy for all Zir Chemed clients.

The building that ZC is ultimately aiming for will be a place where a larger staff will be able to provide more of the same services that are currently offered in Zir Chemed. At present there is an average six week waiting list for any appointment that is not urgent. We are hoping that the ability to employ more doctors will reduce the waiting period for treatment in an area where time is often crucial.

In the new building there will be room for nurses’ stations and labs. where certain elementary services will be provided on location – eliminating the hassle involved when patients need to go elsewhere for blood tests.

There is a plan to have two training and lecture halls built in to the new building where our doctors can further serve the community by providing seminars in their areas of expertise.

Above all, the new building will be custom designed to reflect the need of the special services offered at the center, including multiple entrances and exits to preserve the dignity of couples coming for treatment.
