Over thirty years ago, Zir Chemed started the first halachic fertility clinic in the world. Since then, we have helped thousands of couples with our dedication to halacha, privacy, dignity - and of course, medical expertise.

Timing is everything.
We're here when others aren't.
With fertility, timing is critical. Zir Chemed’s clinic is the only one open every erev shabbos/chag and motzei shabbos/chag. We also offer appointments at night, even very late at night, respecting your privacy and halacha.
Accessibility and convenience.
Our clinic is located in Jerusalem, convenient to public transportation and highways. Zir Chemed can also offer local accommodations for couples who live extremely far away, so distance won’t be a factor in the success of their treatments.

Additionally, Zir Chemed has testing supplies in over 30 locations around the country, for easy accessibility.
Affordable pricing.
Zir Chemed is a non-profit clinic. Testing and procedures are all subsidized to make them accessible to all. Additionally, limited full subsidies are available.
Halachic integrity.
Our entire laboratory staff are exclusively shomer Shabbat yirei shamayim. That means there is no need for external supervision — all procedures are conducted in accordance with halachic guidance, using equipment and protocols approved by leading rabbinic authorities.
Recognized experts.
Our laboratory team is led by Dr Baruch Brooks PhD, the expert embryologist and fertility treatment authority. Our medical team is led by Dr Irit Kafka, MD.

Zir Chemed is devoted to the privacy of our patients. Our clinic is in a discrete residential area. Our system ensures only one couple is visiting the clinic at a time - no awkward waiting room encounters.
Coordination with other labs.
If a Zir Chemed couple needs a test or procedure we cannot provide, we won’t leave you on your own. We work with couples to be sure they have the guidance they need to move further along their path to parenthood.
